day after tomorrow

so i found a job. although it almost feels like the job found me (thanks L.!) i am very excited, and i will be sure to update everyone with details as soon as i start. but while i waited for something to come through i have been exercising my inner shop rat... it was very nice for someone i hardly know to give me some work while i looked but i think i know have a new requirement for any future place of employment. a toilet.

freakin' snows a blowing

today i had a lovely lunch with the women from my old job. thank you all! and as if it couldn't be a better afternoon i then got to spend sometime with some of the others that i miss... baa.

my darling friend in south dakota sent me this for x-mas... jackalope! just about my favorite animal ever! and how exciting, now i will get to taste one.

new marks on my food list

i recently had the opportunity to try kobe beef. yumm. it is always exciting to add a new food to my "have eaten" list. i can happily say hippo is now on that list as well. double yumm.

if any of you ever run across these in the store i strongly suggest swooping them up!
